Njaol started nearly 20 years ago when we bred our first litter of F1 Standard Labradoodles. Some family members had heard of Labradoodles but couldn’t find any breeders at that time that they felt happy with. We had a retired Standard Poodle stud dog, Threadbare, who we had given a home to some years earlier, so with his previous owners permission and the purchasing of our very first Labrador Millie, we bred our first litter of F1 Labradoodles. We had six fantastic puppies, one of which headed to Canada with our relatives, and that was the start of what has been a brilliant and exhausting journey!

After a few years of breeding the standard sized Labradoodle we added the standard sized F1 Goldendoodle. Finally we added the smaller version of the above, the F1 Cockerpoo, as not everyone can accommodate a big hairy dog!

We are coming to the end of our busy dog days, now only breeding an occasional litter of Labradoodles, Goldendoodles and Cockerpoos. Our aim has always been to produce happy, healthy, fun loving family pet dogs, I’d like to think that’s been achieved. Thanks to all my families couldn’t do it without you!

Enjoy the photos below, great memories of happy times with some of the OG’s.

‘The aim of every dog breeder should be to produce pups which are capable of breathing easily, exercising freely, mating and whelping naturally, living to a reasonably ripe old age and, above all, fitting temperamentally into the modern society in which they will have to exist.’
